When I was a kid a neighbor boy had one...50 years ago. I had a mustang bike with a 3 speed console shift on the top bar. Loved that crome and gold bike with a 16" front wheel.
I'm surprised we don't see many 2 speed like that any more. Perhaps warrenty claims are high for them, or theirs liability issues.
