Does anyone have an idea how much energy the body uses to repair road rash? I know breaking bones can double your caloric need. I've been eating normally, haven't been on the bike in a few days, and keep losing weight I don't need to lose.
I have far too much experience with road rash and the recovery process. How are you treating the wounds, and where/how big are they?
