I decided to give the Panaracer GravelKing slicks another chance. My original experience with them was on wet grass and it was not positive. After reading more and more good things I decided to give them a second chance. I put them back on about a week ago, and I have to say that I am very happy with them. Their only downfall is wet grass. Even in this moist mess, they were great. I will be setting them up tubeless later this week.
