Here’s my serious answer. When I was single, in an apartment, I had a dog. I chose to drive home and walk the dog, rather than ride home and not have time for the dog. Now that I’m married and have a house, the dogs have a backyard and day long entertainment, and I don’t feel bad about neglecting them so much, so I ride more.
