Definitely red. The old Lemon Zurick, Y2K model ,was red, white and blue with red handlebar tape. It actually came with a seat with a lot of red on it (but I never used it). Check it out.
P.S., I like where you put the brakes. I'm going to do that (copy that) for my BA (mine are too far forward). I was thinking about that just today and bought some electrical tape on the way home from a ride.
