Well thanks for replying. My components aren’t Mafac Racer era this is true.
Sorting out Y2K era (primitive) electronics sounded C&V-ish to me. But, OK I will pursue my query on General Cycling. I strayed away from that one lately as it seems I always attract snarky trolls.
