In trying to prove to my wife that it was a good thing to buy this new bike and I want to use it I have started to ride it to work.(just for those who don't know yet it is about 13 miles)
yesterday the ride home sucked.the wind blew all afternoon.about 20mph or so.comming home I had to buck it.yuk.
I made it in a decent amount of time but I was just wiped when I got home.(still beat how long it would take me on my mountain bike)I am stiff this morning and I get to do it all again.the wind is not blowing right now but I am afraid it will start soon.I don't know if I got it in me to do this again.
I didn't realize how crappy my mtn bike was for riding back and forth untill yesterday.what a difference in riding.I know that I would have had to throw in the towel and call to have her come get me.
