I'm pretty cheesed off about bike seats. What the hell is so wrong with the traditional saddle shape, that it's almost impossible to find anymore?

Being a bit of a weight weenie, I like a bare carbon seat, but the shape has to be just right with no padding. I have a Kuota-branded thing that's spot-on, but I can't find another carbon seat the same shape... The closest thing to it is the Tioga Spyder Twintail, and it's nearly as light as a carbon seat, but that's for a dry-only bike.
