We did the annual health insurance marathon today. It's up to US$500+ apiece now. We then had some lunch and then bought three rolls of single strand electrical wire (Romex is completely unknown here), did a couple other things and returned home. Tomorrow around mid day, we plan to actually leave for Chetumal, at the extreme southern part of Quintana Roo, to spend the night. One of our favorite cities in any part of the world. Very Caribbean and still Mexican. Following breakfast on Wed., we will drive across the border into Belize, barring an act of god.
The electrician will do some work in our absence. A good friend will take care of the animals and keep the plants alive. For the Mrs. it's a work trip. For me, if I can remain unbored all will be well. I might be able to score a beach cruiser on occasion.
