Went in to Cycle Loft this past weekend. I was suprised that for such a big place they had so little to choose from. They have almost no Trek bikes (the guy told me they prefer Lemonds for the mid-level bikes, so they stopped buying that level Trek), a few Specialized, some Lemonds and that was basically it. We spent a bit of time looking at a Lemond and then when they went to check on the size for me, another guy (obviously in charge) said they don't carry that bike anymore (it's on the floor and priced) and wouldn't I be happier with a Felt that's $300 more expensive? The guy who had been helping me was VERY nice and he said that they were changing ownership, so maybe that's the problem, but I was pretty dissapointed with the selection (and the attitude of the guy in charge who was a tad rude).

Again, the guy who helped me was very nice and pretty knowledgeable, but not so much about their stock as he had to be corrected about a few things by that guy in charge. (Oh, and the guy in charge wasn't too knowledgeable either. He told me they only carried bikes -- in the mid-range -- at $1200 and $1600, nothing in between. That was after the other guy had shown me three bikes on the floor all tagged at $1300-$1500. ??!)
