Any time I see videos like this I put myself in the position of both operators and asked what I could have done differently. In this case it's pretty obvious what the motorist did wrong. If they don't have their driving privileges revoked, it will be a horrible injustice. Drivers like that do not belong on the road.

The first thing I would have done differently as the rider, is I would have stopped at the traffic light in the middle of the lane. I am more likely to be seen and treated as traffic that way. I have been known to pull far right, allow all the motor vehicles to go, then go once they cleared. In the subject scenario when I proceeded, I would have remained center lane until I could have safely moved further right to allow cars to go by at a safe distance. If I am going to run a red light, I am going to do it for a reason. I am left to wonder that cyclist's reasoning.
