It is difficult to find specs on Electra models . It took me awhile to find the weight of a steel framed Cruiser 1 and an Aluminum Original Lux1 . FYI 38 on the steel , 36 on the aluminum. Not enough difference for me to pay the extra $100+ .
And I’ve read the aluminum frames transmit bumps more than the steel . The steel frame absorbs them better .
I think the reason I like the Electra Cruiser frame is the distance between the head tube and the seat tube is longer than most bikes . I’m 5’11” but have a 28 1/2” inseam , short legs , long torso and long arms . Hard to fit .
If I get a long enough top tube , I feel like I’m perched up on a high wheel bike and my tip toes don’t touch . And my rear end hangs off the back of the saddle .
With my seat set to where it feels right peddling on my Electra , I can’t stand flat footed seated.
Edit : I searched and found , the Townie 47.5” wheelbase . Tall Steel Cruiser 1 48.7” wheelbase Fat tire Cruiser 51” wheelbase
