Do you know someone who has a Cricut or other type of vinyl plotter? If so, have them cut the stencils/decals for you. If not, most sign shops will cut vinyl stencils/decals for you. Your painter should know where to get them made, if he doesn't have a vinyl cutter himself.

I could cut them for you, if you can send me an SVG file or JPG of the design. If it is just simple lettering with a normal font, I can do the design myself.
