I'm 68, going on 69. Forty-eight years ago I was paralyzed from the waist down. Ten years after that I started riding again. When my back couldn't handle an upright bike, I got my first recumbent. Three years later I got a faster one. In 2014 I switched to a Lightning Cycle Dynamics P-38. In spite of other serious medical problems I'm still riding, and plan to keep riding until I die, because I'd rather be dead than not ride.
Pain is the universe telling you that you are not dead—yet.
