The L&M Viz 360 had amber side lights, a flash setting and mounted to the helmet. Nothing to think about as far as doing anything extra with the lights beyond pushing the button to turn it on.
You still have to charge it, though. My favorite lights are my dynamo powered lights. I don't even turn them on or off. I just ride.
