Had a nice, mostly leisurely ride today, but tossed in a couple short, punchy climbs just because. I hadn't ridden one of them in a while, and I set a
PR without burying myself - it was a little under 500w for a 1min 13sec. Losing weight certainly seems to help on 10%+ grades.
....and then I see the KOM, a local pro. Jeezuz H - 33 freaking seconds. That kind of stuff blows my mind.
