I used to build fixed gear bikes awhile ago and I figured I would be able to tackle this build but it's a bit over my head.
Thanks in advance for the advice!
I recently finished my Superstar build with Campy Potenza groupset. I had zero issues with the groupset.
Two things to be aware of - the rear derailleur takes a full length housing that is hidden in the chain stay, be aware of that when you're cutting your housings since Campy is a little stingy with the lengths. When installing the headset, even though the steerer appears to have a built in race (and should be) it isn't. Use the included bottom 'race' - I installed mine by cutting a slit it in with a dremel (making it a split race). You won't have clearance between the fork shoulder and the headset if you don't do this.
Also, you can use Potenza 11 derailleurs and brakes with Chorus 11 brifters - far cheaper than going all in on Chorus and you'll have the nicer shifting of the Chorus brifters. I honestly think the Potenza crank looks better in silver than the Chorus 11 does in CF. You can also use Shimano 11sp cassettes and chain with the campy group too.
Did you get your frame from Amazon too?
