What, we don't have a I-do-everything-myself member on this forum that can re-cast the leaded end on your cable?
That's great you have an LBC on the way to work. I've have been trying to temporarily substitute a small pair of vice grips for the missing cable end, long enough to get there. Pretty sure it would
not have worked.
