I also do not like the idea of parting out. I would like to be as original as possible. So, the new plan is to break it down to the frame, remove and inhibit the rust, and touch up the paint the best I can. If I can’t find a match at the hobby or auto store, I’ll take it to the paint store and try matching it there. I hear it’s about $20 to do so. I will then put it back together and see if I can actually ride the thing. If not, I’m happy to do a frame swap for a taller Super in similar condition, or even offset the cost of one in great condition. Sorry, but I’m going to keep the components no matter what I do! Haha
