I agree with slopvehicle... especially in the 3rd point. Actually for some reason the isis stuff was redesigned a few years ago to a version 2... and for some reason campy is still doing all their stuff in squared tapper... as long as other companies like miche for example. The question is why campy is still using the same old design??? thats a good question that it is based in common sense and in the desition taken by the campy engeneers so far this days. It wont fail. I have 1 bike with an old campy record bb that it should have at least 20 years... and still rolling w/o any problems. I have to change it soon i think, but i know it will work for 20 more years. Wonder if a new sealed shimano BB (isis) can do that for more than 5 years before braking appart.
Is not a thing that I dont like shimano, but since they started playing god trying to induce their own standar at some point they screw us all. Besides their prices and get new tools... come on Shimano!!! and come on Suntour... I miss u guys!!!
