Both. Wahoo hasn't yet added ANT+ light control. When controlled by a head unit with ANT+ lights, the 510 has another mode available: Radar On with the light off (at least that's how it works with a compatible Garmin). When you flip through the light modes with the button on the 510, the last mode puts it in standby, with both the radar and lights off, contrary to what DCRainmaker recently said (he indicated that it was radar on, light off).
Ah got it, I'll have to check it out next ride. There was a Wahoo firmware update a couple days ago so I don't know if they've fixed it or not. The cars show up at the bottom of the screen though, so that's good.
In other news, I titled my ride on Strava with lyrics from "Radar Love" and even though it was certainly unimaginative, I'm disappointed that none of my Strava friends have picked up on that. Sad!
