I do, for the most part, agree with his tenet, that the pedestrian is always right. I don't cycle in a crowded metro center often, but when I do adopt a different mindset, which is basically slow the heck down. The bike path running along Toronto's Lakeshore is super busy with cyclists and pedestrians.use it as a sidewalk. Many cyclists will opt for riding on the road instead of trying to navigate around the pedestrians.
