Bikes: Santa Cruz Juliana & Gunnar Roadie

we are a family of 2 & 1 little dog who is getting along in years and spends most of her hours sleeping...one works from home...the other works at an extremely laid back job with no set hours/breaks/deadlines...the one who works outside the home is preparing to commute by bike...
we own 2 cars, but rarely (if ever) out and about without the other one...so being a one car family would not be such a stretch (in fact: a consideration when the older car gives up) So I ask..."why is it we are ridiculed for not being insistant on replacing to older sicker car immediately????" I mean, we have one car that works great...it less than 2 years old! Is it just a thing society says we must do? "Own at least one car for every member in the household!!!"

I say HA! and i say it loud hoping someone may listen and realize how lazy they are being and maybe, just maybe, they will get out and walk or ride to the store that is less than 3 blocks away to pick up their neccesity....

BTW...bicycle dollars do not go as far as real dollars and trying to stock a complete winter wardrobe in 1 order from 1 cyling related website is impossible!!!!
