Glad to hear that you stayed dry on Saturday, @thinktubes

Saturday I rode a 200km brevet out of Evanston, and got rained on for what felt like about 3 hours between miles 50 and 100.

The majority of the ride I was with 4 other riders, with only myself and one other running fenders. I think I got more wet from their tire spray than from the rain itself!

Not really, though, we got absolutely dumped on. But I was super glad to have fenders on my big Trek. Got lots of compliments on it, too The one thing I neglected was to put some mudflaps on, so yesterday I made some and installed them. I figure that's a great way to never get caught in the rain again, if I'm prepared then the rain should stay away!

A couple of pictures from one of our riding group, not sure if Frank is on here or not. The first picture is why I spent a few hours yesterday cleaning my bike I'm in the white jersey in the second picture.
