Trying to ID this bike, is anyone that good they can tell what it was? It was stolen around 1987.
It's a lower end 1974-76 Gitane with what appears to be two people rubbing uglies in close proximity to the bike.
How can I tell? The seat stay is 12mm or 14mm. Better models had 16mm seat stays!
The frame is too large for the rider - the suede covered plastic ass-hatchet seat that Gitane provided back then is too far down.
Just one more thing...
It looks like male and female legs!
