This morning I went out on some errands downtown here in Ottawa, and took the long way home along the river and canal paths. I like riding the Peugeot, even with the heavy old steel wheels and worn hubs. The Simplex rear derailer works well, and the delrin is in good shape. I changed the front derailer to a shimano unit for peace of mind. This winter I'm putting together an alloy wheelset. The leaves are changing and the temps are dropping to single digits at night (Celsius I mean). Here's a few I snapped:
