I'd recommend getting one of his books - Bobke or Bobke 2. Lots of funny diary entries about bike racing, but some great stories and essays mixed in as well.

I met him last Spring at my LBS (in Nashua NH). Sorry to say I missed his "storytelling session" that evening.
