I have bought several from an actual bike shop. Most recently, pooh, pooh all you want, a Bianchi Pista Chrome single speed at a much reduced price. The little shop was super friendly, had helped me out with an emergency repair and installed some lights on my bike so I bought a bike from them. Though I have had it only a few weeks it is already transforming into a much lighter, more custom machine. I do not think I have ever bought a bicycle, new or used, that I did not significantly modify or upgrade so I take that into account.

Upgrades completed or underway:

New wheels and 23mm tires and Mavic Open Pro rims (red sidewalls) and butted spokes and Origin8 cartridge hubs
Red Cinelli cork tape
Shimano SL pedals (was Wellgo)
Cinelli alloy track bars (were steel standard track bars)
100mm stem (was 120)
Lightweight tubes
Shimano aero type brake levers*(maybe)
