I have to imagine that a 55mm bb drop frame with platform and straps is fairly close to a 70mm bb drop frame with clipless pedals. So then what? Does slowing down come with experience? I’ve been riding bikes for 30 years, you know when you can pedal through or need to coast without thinking about it.
