Not to worry. That's just an excellent example of the skillful use of shallow depth-of-field from a large aperture to blur the background and make it less distracting to the main subject. We're perhaps just not used to the bike not being the main subject, is all. This is, for me, more difficult to do than the Photography 101 books make it seem, so well done!
