Hey all,i have a 2015 trek 7.2 fx hybrid that I use as a winter commuter and it now needs a new front derailleur. Despite not being all that knowledgeable about the derailleurs, I figure I can manage the switch over of the derailleur myself - the only issue I’m having is assessing what derailleurs are compatible with my bike. I would normally just replace with the same M191, but am having trouble finding this at a good price. My goal is to get a cheap functional derailleur as I expect it is just going to get destroyed by the snow/salt. If anybody can recommend a good cheap derailleur that would work, would be much appreciated. Was looking at this (Shimano Claris FD-R2030 3x8Speed Braze-on Front Derailleur) but not sure it would work.
