There's the real issue. It's not so much that I'm against sales taxes, especially if they support schools or roads or something useful. I just hate having to "figure" in my head, if I'm close on the full price, with whatever money I have on hand. Or dig out a calculator or smartphone.🙄 Why can't they add the tax to the price, and have THAT amount marked, as the full price? To me, that's the most sensible approach.
