Hello everyone.
New to the forum and new to biking. I'm a runner with a minor injury that has had me on the shelf for almost a month. To keep myself fit, I started riding the spin bike at the gym, but then I thought--I always wanted a road bike--now is the time. I bought my bike 4 weeks ago, and have been going out weekend mornings, starting out in the South Huntington area. I had my first 50 mile ride Saturday, and even though it was cold when I first got out at about 7, it warmed up enough to make it a great ride.
Anyway, I'm looking for some folks who start their rides near enough to me that we could meet up and go for a long ride together. If you're interested, let me know.
