I knew the mechanic who put the banana seat on that bike. His name is George Bliss. He did this for lots of customers. His shop was on Charles St and Washington St. He's done a lot of innovative things. I've seen kids as old as 10 or 11 on them. There are fewer such bikes in the neighborhood now, as those kids have grown, and George isn't in the neighborhood anymore.
