Oh, it's light... and fast. I made a real effort to keep the weight as low as possible and still be period correct. Build up weight is 17.3 lbs!

The big appeal of this machine is it's a Barry Chick built frame... he was one of the top six time trial frame builders in the UK during the glory days of the late 1970s-early 80s. And, of course, famous for building the frames for Alf Engers. You can't get a better pedigree for a time trial frame than Shorter/Chick/Engers!

The colour scheme gave me pause when I bought this, thinking it was some repaint. But it seems perfectly and entirely original and quite striking. A beautiful machine. I just wish there were more time trial friendly routes where I live to ride it more.
