I have the Carmina cranks on 2 bikes and they are great with low Q factor. The Cyclotourist model is probably even lower, depending on your bike and which BB length you use, to get the absolute minimum clearance between the crankarms and seatstay while maintaining proper chainline.
But I'd suggest maybe you look at some other biomechanical factors as a potential (and less expensive) cure for knee pain. One place you might start is using some orthotics in your cycling shoes. "Super Feet" are easy to get and work very well. Also some corrective exercise, foam roller treatment, etc.
Just consider that a new crankset may not be the best / quickest remedy for knee pain - unless you are running something very wide.
