As a native Texan with Brooklyn parents ...
1. Pretty much all-season riding weather, though I often head to your Colorado for lower temps in the summer.
2. Low taxes.
3. Cheap real estate (overall).
4. Strong economy.
5. For us lazy cyclists ... it's got a lot of FLAT sections.
