Self inflicted error on my part. Had the adapter turned around. I did use the one from the existing caliper. And it stops much much better. Some fine tuning and things will be real good... I have no doubt I can drag the rear on dirt and gravel. And while I am close to locking it up right now, I do stop on just the rear if need be. At 241 pounds, I like to get stopped.

Thanks everyone. I have compression less cable and housing in hand, new bar tape too. I have some repair parts for Sora 3500 shifters (cosmetic damage), so I need the brifters off to get the hoods swapped out, unless I'm missing something. Lots of things to knock out in one fix.

I did mount the disc to my other wheel, and the new disc stops even better.

Much better...
