Can someone explain why they think 30mm spindles will not work with BSA? Rotor, wheels mfg, Chris king, and Enduro all make BSA BBs for 30mm spindles.
I’m surprised nobody has mentioned the main limitation here. You can’t use a pure BB30/PF30/BB30A/BBright crankset. By “pure” I mean that the cranksets designed specifically for these standards have shorter spindles than what “normal” bikes use.
For example:

However, there are many cranksets that say they are designed for BB30 etc that are not “pure” and actually are compatible with 86.5mm BBs. So just verify that the crank you get has a long enough spindle. I believe that SRAM BB30 cranks are BB386 compatible which means that a BSA 30 BB should work.
