I think you are high value wise. Vintage bikes have dropped in value including the Miyata 1000. Also, the Miyata 1000 IMHO got a lot better in the late 1980s. So the mid to early 1980s version just aren't as valuable.

IME, Denver area is one of the softer areas for vintage bikes. I've bought a lot of them in Denver in the last five years. My last trip through Denver (this year), I found so many bikes I had to resell one out of the campground, and donate three or four others. I kept finding better and better bikes. And I had my F150 with me with lots of room....My last two finds, a Litespeed MTB and a SLX Eddy Merckx required pruning. Hated seeing the Panasonic DX4000 go.
