One of those French racing tris set a record across the Atlantic a few years ago. They crossed from NY to the English Channel in 3 1/2 days or there abouts. Their best days run was over 900 miles in 24 hours - faster than a cruise liner. As an engineering proposition those boats are extremely interesting and I want one.
