Took last week off for a trip to the cabin. Snow, rain, sleet, 20-40 MPH winds all week. Firewood never dried out. Crappy vacation weather, but it would have been brutal commuting weather.
Cold but clear all week starting today. Streets and MUPs are mostly dry; a few isolated patches of ice. The weird weather somehow prevented the lakes from freezing yet. On the MUP along the lake (same location as photo # 2 in post 1713 -
2019! The “How was your commute?” thread! ), there's a bass boat with a couple dudes in plaid flannel fishing from it. And yes, in December, that's definitely "not something you see every day".
