Bikes: '96 Litespeed Catalyst, '05 Litespeed Firenze, '06 Litespeed Tuscany, '20 Surly Midnight Special, All are 3x10. It is hilly around here!

Perhaps a silly question but does the bolt really take a 2 mm Allen? Maybe it's a 2.5 mm? If the 2 mm just spins it's either really striped or the wrong size.
