Just a note.
I swapped out the 10 speed 11/36 cassette tonight for an 11/42. The bike has a SRAM X5 long cage derailer and I was curious if I would need a wolftooth. So far it shifts through all gears and is ready for a test ride.
Not strictly part of the 1x question but I was excited
