I had to step away from this project for awhile but I'm back at it and in the final stretch. After some chats with the friend this is for and a member of this forum we've decided to go single speed based on the riding she'll be doing and for weight/simplicity.
Added a Brooks flyer, VO bottom bracket, H + Plus Son TB14 track wheel set, Stronglight 93 crankset with the 42t outter ring and some Michelin Dynamic Classic tires. Next up is brakes (cleaning up the mafacs), grips, chain, pedals (keeping the originals) and VO fenders. Will also do a slight paint touchup.
Can anyone recommend a good frame pump for this? I know zefal is a common choice but I can’t seem to nail down the size I’d need.
