What's the chain wrap? If it's 22t jump in front and 11-36 in back, then wouldn't your 47t capacity Rd work fine through the entire range as long as you have the right chain length? That would be exactly 47t chain wrap.
Assuming 24/46t in front would give you 627% gear range, which is huuuuuuuuuuge. On 19.8 inch tire would give 13.2-82.8 gear inches.
SGS long cage is a bit long for 20 inch wheels. I use rs-4700-gs with 41t capacity with 43t chain wrap with 34t cog. The pulley is dragging on the 2 smallest cogs.I have only a few millimeters inside the 406 rim of ground clearance.
I have a Hebe spoke protector which says it's for 36t. $3. Hooks behind the spoke flange with 3 tabs.
