I am 54 and my goal was to semi-retire (drop to half time) at 50. Did not happen. Maybe before 60, depending on cost of daughter #2’s college. The people I know who are happiest have found a way to work 15-25 hours/week. That gives some structure and income, but opens up more time for cycling or volunteering or grandkids, etc.
Is it easy being a PTer in a group?
My witch doctor joined a group intending to work "part time." But she quit after about 10 weeks because she was working full time.
