a2, I've been pissed off all day about the same thing. For God's sake, we're not trying to be snobs, but many of us have worked at shops, live and breathe bikes, ride everyday, ride tons of mileage, read all the mags, search for info on the net...blah blah blah..Then someone comes along and gets ticked and says we are "bike snobs" cuz we only like high end stuff. Geeeeeeez.

Another thing that pisses me off is people who dis their shop because the salesmen are "pushy" or something of the like. Arrrgh. The sales people are jsut trying to get paid, just like everyone else in the world.

Where has the respect for experience, knowledge, and wisdom gone???
