The "frozen slush" that I boasted about tackling yesterday became compact sheets of ice in the latest rain/freeze/thaw/freeze cycle which necessitated me walking my bike over the MUP in a few spots.

My new bike has 3" wide tires and they're awesome but I am really trying to avoid falling into the overconfidence trap!
