Right, 2:1. But look at that thing. The rear cog is hardly smaller than the front ring. Of course you could ascend some crazy stuff, but as stated, you'd be spun out on a downhill at anything over 10MPH
Looks like a 34:20 or thereabouts to me. On most 29'ers, folks use an even shorter gearing than 2:1 to handle the bigger wheels. I've got a 32:18 on my SS, and I still have to go CX-style up some techy climbs.
